In their staff support role, the Division's attorneys have played a valuable role in advising both employees and the public as to legal requirements in the business, commercial, securities, and charities areas. The five attorneys staffing this unit also assist local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel with criminal prosecutions in the areas of securities and charity law violations. With this unit’s role in the current organization, the Division has seen an improvement in delivery of legal services and in the function and authority of the organization's operations.
