Charities: Rules and Regulations

This page contains links to both the Mississippi Charities Act Rules and the Mississippi Code sections that regulate Charities.  The documents are in three formats: Microsoft Word format, Rich Text Format (RTF) which can be read by Word Prefect, and Adobe Acrobat's PDF format. Charitable Solicitations Act

Please note that the Charitable Solicitations Act was amended by House Bill 680 (2009), which became effective July 1, 2009. Below is a copy of the Act as it existed prior to the amendment, and a copy of House Bill 680 in Rich Text Format. Please refer to both documents for a complete version of the Act as in effect on July 1, 2009.
